 I’ve lost touch with writer Doug LaBudde over the years, but I have fond memories of hanging with him and of doing this interview. Newsound was a publication that was overseen by Dan Russell. Dan also booked many concerts and festivals in the New England area. He also worked closely with the late Mark Heard and that alone merits my gratitude and admiration. Dan’s label (Fingerprint) released the last few of Mark’s albums as well as the Orphans Of God tribute CD.
