Holy
Trinity
has
an
Anglican
orientation,
but
their
expression
of
this
feels
a
little like a hybrid ... a fellowship that is finding its own form
and style. That's NOT bad. But it does mean that some of
the Service
resembles a traditional Liturgical service and some of it feels as
though you're still in non-denominational territory. I'm so
pleased to
be able to assist and be a part of this New Work in the
community.
Todd Hunter is the pastor here. You can Google him and find out
the
far-reaching places he's journeyed to in the Faith ... a very sharp and
insightful fellow. I'll be leading some Congregational singing
and,
perhaps, a song of my own. It always changes ... and that's part
of
the attraction for me. Holy Trinity is across the street from
Rock
Harbor (a vibrant, I-feel-like-an-old-guy church). So while the
youngsters are intoning "Dude, praise the Lord", we'll hearken back to
some of the traditional, some of the modern, even some of the
post-modern. It's less about labels than the flow of joining
together,
in Spirit, with ALL of the Church throughout history ,,, being aware
and appreciative of "the Great Cloud of Witnesses" that surrounds us
and has gone before us. Come join us!
